My interest in Gothic literature and media is complemented by an interest in goth, industrial, and electronic music. As DJ cypher, I have been active as a club, radio, and internet DJ since 1994.

I currently host two online radio shows. Started in 1999 on terrestrial radio, Dark Nation Radio is my weekly program focusing on new goth, industrial, and intelligent electronica. It is now among the most-established and longest-running "dark music" programs on the web. The program airs weekly on Sunday evenings from 9 - 11 PM Eastern time on Spirit of Resistance Radio.

I also host DJ cypher's Psychobilly Family Power Hour--a semi-monthly show that focuses on rockabilly, psychobilly, and punk rock. It airs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 9 PM Eastern time on Spirit of Resistance Radio.

I have held DJ residencies at Contempt NYC and BOUND DC. I both hosted and DJed for the Darkwave Lounge (Michigan) and BOUND Hartford.

 

Guest spots have included Convergence X (Chicago), Dracula's Ball (Philadelphia), Ghoul School (Hollywood), Endless Night (New Orleans), and House of Voodoo (San Francisco).  In April of 2015 I was the featured DJ at the 20th anniversary event for Philadelphia's Dancing Ferret Concerts.
